Vanha uusi | Old meets New

Based in a traditional Japanese house (Kominka) in Tokyo—one of the historic dwellings that have dotted the landscape since the early Meiji era—Vanha uusi is a gallery and store curated by SUI GENERIS.

Our name, "Vanha uusi," means "Old New" in Finnish. It is a reflection of our philosophy: the dialogue between history and the present, and the harmony between East and West.
